Wisdom and understanding feeds our inner lives. Like milk for a baby, God gives us wisdom in small increments so we can ingest them in a way that deepens our understanding and grows our compassion.
Each time we wisely handle life situations, our integrity grows more solid. We are not afraid then to be vulnerable to God and to others.
Wisdom—Godly wisdom—comes with lessons, promises and rewards. Proverbs 2:7 He reserves ability for those with integrity. He is a shield for those who live a blameless life.
Proverbs 2:11-12 instructs us: discretion will guard you; understanding will protect you. Wisdom will rescue you from the evil path, from people who twist their words.
